I had seen so many beautiful pictures of Chefchaouen on Instagram years before even planning to go on a trip through Morocco, so as it was time to plan the itinerary of this year’s trip, this place just had to be on the itinerary and boy was I surprised about its chilled and quiet atmosphere.
Fez, a fairly big town in the North of Morocco with a very interesting medina that seems as if time stood still, where people still transport their goods in carts, on donkeys or horses and where the smell of the tanneries somehow, only subtle, lies everywhere in the air.
Casablanca, my first stop on this trip in Morocco and already the first destination I wasn’t sure about what to visit or how long to stay at.
I think this island has much more to offer than I’ve actually seen on my daytrip. I only had a few hours to visit the main “sights” on Siquijor Island, but it was enough to convince me that this island is a little paradise.
Here’s to my first holidays that I spent without any parent or supervisor in 2012. Our visit to Shipwreck Bay was right at the time when it got super hyped in the medias (or at least after that I saw so many posts about it), but we weren’t aware of how much attention it actually got when we were spending our holdidays there.
This is my favorite travel destination in France. When traveling in the South of France, you have to go hiking in the beautiful Parc national des Calanques.
